Sal and Maryann Diliberto are the owners of the award-winning Diliberto Winery on the North Fork of Long Island. Since 1998, they have been growing grapes and producing wines that have received critical acclaim. Their passion for producing great wine is matched by their passion and pride in their Italian heritage.
Both Sal and Maryann’s families have roots in the Campania region of Italy and Tenuta Torre Gaia is located in Dugenta, the town where Sal’s mother Carmela was born. The joy that they have found in visiting with their Italian cousins over the past many years made them decide to lead tours to this beautiful region of Italy, to which so many Italian-¬‐Americans can trace their heritage.
Anyone who has visited the Diliberto Winery over the years know that Sal and Maryann have visited Italy many times and have even helped their guests to plan tours. Their insight into the unique food and wines of this fabulous region combined with their knowledge of the ancient and historic sights of Campania will make this tour one you will never forget.
